Client feedback
I treat clients with a wide range of symptoms, or reasons for choosing massage therapy. Below are some examples and testimonies from some of them.

Brigitte is a 78 year old active mother and grandmother, who fell and fractured her elbow and pelvis. Spending 4 weeks in plaster and carrying out prescribed exercises from a physio left her still in pain several months later. Unable to tend to her garden, climb in and out of the bath or look after her grandchildren she was heavily reliant on her daughter for help. A tailor-made block of treatments designed to decrease pain in her arm and allow her to be able to touch her face with her palm, gave her confidence more than anything to be able to live a full life again, with less pain and on the road to increased mobility. |
"My daughter recommended Dina as someone who could help me get more mobility for my elbow after a fracture, and Dina, besides giving wonderful treatments wrote down exercises for doing regularly at home, which I found to be very helpful. I enjoyed the back massage, especially as the treatment on the arm is quite painful. I would recommend Dina as a very competent and kind therapist. "

"When I first contacted Dina about a treatment for a sports injury I was apprehensive, as previous physios I have seen have done a short consultation, some ultrasound and some exercises to do at home. This was very different though, Dina was extremely thorough and hands on. She really got to the heart of the problem very quickly and worked the affected area so that I felt almost immediate relief. As a triathlete, I really value Dina's ability to not only very effectively treat injuries, but also her ability to spot potential problem areas and prevent them from turning into issues. I regularly recommend Dina to friends for her incredible knowledge and ability to identify and treat problems very quickly. I have presented her with all sorts of weird and wonderful ailments over the years and she has always sorted me out!"

Some years after a falling down stairs, Jane suffers from unexplained low back and neck pain and says that she hurts everyday and cannot sleep at night. Seeing an osteopath failed to provide lasting results. She frequently suffers from migraines and can no longer participate in activities with her teenagers. Her first session left her feeling exhausted, but she slept well for the first night in years. Several sessions in and she has had a pain free week on holiday, leaving her able to enjoy life with renewed confidence. |
"After living with daily pain post-injury for years, a hospital consultant suggested I should attend a Pain Clinic - To teach methods of coping, as a kind of last resort. I booked a massage with Dina just to get some respite. When I first went to see Dina I was concerned that I'd be in pain for life! After each appointment however, I've had successively longer periods that are entirely pain-free. I've realised I can't feel the pain in my neck/back anymore. Dina has also provided suggestions for all aspects of life from ways of sleeping and doing the housework, to rethinking how I hold/move my body, with real results. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her."

"I always feel better after a session with Dina. My last sessions averted a frozen shoulder and eased my back pain. I now know it's much better to have treatment early to prevent conditions getting worse, rather than ignore the physical signs. Being self employed, I can't afford to be unwell or unable to work. Dina has also taught me simple stretching exercises that have helped reduce problems. For a very therapeutic massage go and see the lovely Dina, there is nothing she can't fix or make better!"

A 59 year old woman wanted to get more mobile and build up strength, and to counter-balance a sedentary lifestyle and had just started seeing a personal trainer who advised her to have a good sports massage for super tight calves and hamstrings. She suffers with knee pain which her doctor has diagnosed as bursitis. Using a mixture of myofascial techniques to address chronically tight legs, self care advice including specific stretches and techniques specific to her knees, two treatments left her feeling lighter, freer and able to pursue her exercises pain free. |
“Dina came highly recommended to me and certainly didn't disappoint. Her massage has been immensely effective. Dina is a very professional therapist and extremely knowledgeable."
